At Risen Church, our Women’s Ministry, Reigning Women, is deeply committed to empowering women by helping them understand their worth and equipping them with the tools they need to succeed. Our mission is driven by the challenges faced by women in South Carolina, including:

• According to the SC Domestic Violence Task Force, South Carolina ranks second in the nation for the rate of women murdered by men and has been in the top ten for the past 12 years.

• The percentage of women living in poverty in South Carolina is above the national average.

• As reported by Mental Health America, South Carolina ranks 43rd in the nation for access to mental health services.

These statistics are deeply concerning. However, for the past 13 years, Reigning Women has been actively working to address these challenges by empowering women with knowledge, resources, and a supportive community.

On March 27-29, 2025, we will host the Reigning Women Gathering, an event designed to uplift and empower women spiritually, mentally, and educationally while connecting them to valuable community resources. The Gathering will include:

• General sessions and empowerment workshops

• A business expo providing access to experts across various fields

• A special tea party celebration

We recognize your shared commitment to supporting and uplifting women, and we invite you to partner with us in this effort. We are also seeking support to cover the costs for at least 20 women from local transitional shelters to attend this transformative event.
